Our latest drama in the house happened last night when Kaylee fell off the bunk bed and broke 2 bones in her arm so she will be getting a cast on Wednesday. When Emily broke her arm she used to think it would be fun to be able to get a cast and pick the color etc. She is still excited to pick a color but I think she has changed her mind about being fun to get a cast (Ha Ha).

AZ STATE FAIR

On Friday we took the girls to the fair. It is only $1.00 each for admission on opening day. The boys chose to go to the High School football game cause last year they got lost and there was too many people there. Here are some of the fun pictures we took.

Updates on the Kids

Nothing real extraordinary has been going on with our family since the last post. Just our normal everyday things that keeps us busy enough that we never seem to stop. Here a brief update on what the kids are all up too.

BRAD- Is enjoying school,scouts, and youg mens. He is the secretary for the teachers quorm. At school he is taking Spanish and Clay for his electives and is doing very well currently getting a B+ in Spanish and a A+ in clay which is expected because he is so talented in the art department and has made some great creations which I can hopefuly get pictures of some of his work posted soon for all to see. He is also helping make the props for the stake roadshows coming up and the end of the month. But Brad's biggest News to report is with the help of his growth hormone shots is he has finally made it TO and PAST 5 feet tall in fact he is over 5'1 inches at his last appointment around Christmas so he could possibly be 5'2 now. All I know is he is fast approaching my height and looks several inches taller than his brother Chris which is good since they were the exact same height last year and we were all scared Chris would get a growth spurt and pass him up.

TAYLOR- Loves school and is doing great with a grade point over a 4.0 because he gets extra credit for Honors classes. Taylor's passions right now is music, track and field team, and the phone and chatting with friends on the internet. He will be turning 14 at the end of the month and that is hard to believe. When not on the phone or the computer (just try calling most of the time you cant get through and if you do he will probably be the one answering cause he's got friends on the other line) He will be playing and writing music on his new keyboard he got for Christmas or practicing for JAZZ BAND on his trombone and trumpet. He also loves to play his acoustic guitar and wants an electric guitar for his birthday but will see it's already pretty loud here with the other instruments he's always playing. Like Brad he is helping with props for the roadshow moving them on and off stage and helping with things they needed big tall kids for. He has reached at age 13 a height of 5'9 1/2 at last we checked he may be bigger now. He made long jump and the high jump team last week for Track which is pretty good because it is a NO CUT sport and There are over 150 kids there and only 30 or 40 I think get to be asked to compete at the meets so we are proud of him for that.

CHRIS- is also enjoying school and his friends he is getting all A's. His favorite things to do are his games on his DS, basketball, Scouts, anything music or with animals and teasing his sisters! He is also the comedian of the family and always is making us laugh. He is sports after school off and on plays the Saxaphone in the band at school. Chris also enjoys spending time hamming up on videos he makes on my camera or cell phone (usually without permission but it's hard to get to mad at him for being his sneaky self because they are pretty funny.) Chris is going on a 6th grade field trip tomorrow to the Renaissance festival they have every year. We look forward to attending it with it has become a tradition now for us to go with them in 6th grade and is actually pretty interesting and fun to go to. He is so excited to also be going to Sea World in March as a family because his Love for Animals especially Sea life and he is very knowledgeable about animals and seems to just have a gift for any animals he comes in contact with. One of his saddest moments was when he learned that Steve Irwin the Crocodile hunter had been killed. He really looked up to him and dreams of doing things like him someday. Which scares me too death to think of but it is what he loves so what do you do!!???

EMILY- Is doing very well and loves school also. Her Teacher this year has been a great fit for her she is very into singing and music and art just like Emily and is LDS also. Emily is her same old self enjoying her friends, School and Church. Recently like her brother she has developed a new love for the phone so we are breaking up many fights over who gets to use it first and how long the other has been on etc etc. Emily has been really getting into drawing lately as is surprisingly really good like Brad. I only say this because of her parents who have a hard time making stick figures look good. She love music and is playing the Violin at school. She also spends a lot of singing to High School Musical shows and listening to music on her MP3 player.

KAYLEE- Kaylee just had her birthday last month which was a lot of fun. She had her first sleep over at our house it was makeover party with 8 girls including her sisters and Chris who just wanted to be there so he could play jokes and tease the girls I think but he said he was there "help me" with me with the party. Taylor was camping and Brad didn't want anything to do with 8 screaming girls and stayed in his room the entire time. Kaylee as most of you know is a TALKER and never seems too stop. Some of the things she says though are hilarious. Her biggest problem though right now is that it is getting her in trouble in class she and her little "club" as she calls it never shutup! And so she gets RED cards and loses privelages at school. I talk to her about it and we have even tried little bribes if she doesn't get them but she say " I just can't control myself" and "it's too hard to wait too tell my friends what I'm thinking cause I'll forget". The way she says all this with exasperation he funny though. I feel sorry for her Teacher "Mr. Mike" cause I got too know these girls and the sleepover and they litterally never stopped talking.

MEGAN- loves preschool and is doing well with her therapis. She has gotten so smart that they recently stopped the speech and language help. Her teachers say she is brilliant and they love having her come each day because she is always so happy. Except when things change and aren't exactly the same she still has some meltdowns but they say they are getten fewer and far between. She loves riding the bus to and from school and they say she never stops singing or talking which they love to hear she knows the route and is very quick to let the driver know if she went the wrong way which sometimes is an issue when other kids aren't there and they don't need to stop at there house but we are working hard to help deal with these kind of changes. Megan still loves fisher price little people and will play with them for hours setting up little towns and she has a great imagination. She remebers everything she learns and likes to come home and teach us about things from school she recently learned about the planets and galaxy and the sun etc. and knows all the names and tons of facts about each one that I didn't even remember learning until like 3rd grade it's amazing!

Ok sorry this got very long I was actually able to write way more than I thought about the kids. Hope you enjoyed the update and I will try to keep up better and learn how to get more pictures on.
